How We Work With Doctors

BetFiery London’s patient-centred philosophy means our doctors deliver an unparalleled experience. We offer referring clinicians many services to help them provide the highest levels of patient care.

The CMA Order

In October 2014, the Competition and Markets Authority ("CMA") adopted the Private Healthcare Market Investigation Order 2014 (the "CMA Order"). The CMA Order requires private hospital operators to disclose on their websites certain information relating to the way the private hospitals interact with referring clinicians. A referring clinician is a clinician who has practising privileges and/or has the ability to refer patients for treatment or tests at a private hospital.

Full details about the investigation and the Order can be found on the CMA web page. In compliance with the CMA Order, we set out below some of the ways in which we work together with our referring clinicians.

Doctor-Led, Patient-Centred Model

Our “Patients First” philosophy is at the heart of BetFiery London. We are doctor-led, which means doctors and nurse leaders are involved in running the BetFiery health system. This puts the patient perspective at the centre of decision making. We strive to deliver an unparalleled patient experience, with caregivers providing high-quality, cost-effective and safe, relationship-centred care. Over 60% of our doctors are employed by BetFiery London. The remainder are referring clinicians with practising privileges at BetFiery London.
